KTA Honor Society turns 98, taps new SJMC members

 

     On March 10, 1910 Kappa Tau Alpha, the national college honor society for journalism and mass communication, was founded at the University of Missouri. KTA is the seventh oldest national honor society and has chapters at 92 colleges and universities. The SJMC chapter was chartered in 1993 and will induct 19 new members at this year's Student Awards Ceremony on April 3rd. The new KTA members are: Jessica Lynn Alabastro, Carlos Ramón Diaz Arroyo, Gabriela S. Bird, Robyn Janelle Chin, Francis Clemenza, Harry Coleman, Christina Fernandez, Lino La Rosa, Jeanette Lopez, Jose Pagliery, David Rodríguez, Maria Alexandra Sanchez, Michelle E. Santisteban, Jessica Jerrylou Señorin, Elizabeth Ashley Suttle, Stephanie Torres, Audrey Marie Vidal , Shaun Patrick Wright and James-Denton Wyllie.
